Responsibilities
- Project delivery and stakeholder management
- Independently execute customer engagement projects with global teams
- Understand project and engagement needs, translate solutions briefs to specific tasks and activities, devise analytical approaches, and manage stakeholder communication (internal and external)
- Design and execute solutions to address specific customer engagement business needs
- Sizing, structure, alignment, placement, targeting for field force including auxiliary roles like MSLs, FRMs, PELs etc.
- Work closely with project leads, engagement manager globally as well as associates in the team to conduct high-quality analysis and develop well-structured and impact-driven deliverables
- Establish priorities around project milestones and tasks, flag off potential risks, and come up with mitigation solutions
- Responsible for quality and thoroughness in the analysis and approach for the project
- Solutioning and problem solving
- Think analytically and use a structured approach to understand problems, analyze data, and map out appropriate solutions
- Solution complex business problems around patient solutions, be able to work with structured and unstructured data sets, and devise new ways of analyzing and creating insights
- Firm building
- Contribute to firm-level initiatives including new capability build, templatizing and standardizing approaches for patient solutions
- Develop and maintain knowledge repository, build training plans and templates to ensure upskilling of consultants
- Drive innovation by staying abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data science and the pharmaceutical industry
- People management
- Mentor and coach resources on analytical approaches, data sets, and applicable commercial use cases
- Provide guidance and structure to junior resources in projects and through training programs and on-the-job guidance
Requirements
- Graduate/Master’s degree from Tier-I/Tier-II institution/university with a strong academic record
- Demonstrated track record of success in executing and delivering data & analytics engagements to life sciences companies
- At least 7 years of relevant experience delivering data and analytics engagements in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare industry
- At least 4+ years of experience in working across sales force optimization and deployment
- Strong expertise in using analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Alteryx, SAS, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with unstructured real-world problems
- Strong passion for understanding and devising solutions for the current issue areas in the pharma industry
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor the junior team members
- Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix environment and work with US clients
