iHerb is hiring a Manager, Inventory Control

Responsibilities

  • Order department supplies as necessary to support operations
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate department activities to fulfill sales orders and meet inventory and production timelines
  • Provide clear written and verbal instructions to team members
  • Analyze and standardize workflows to enhance team efficiency
  • Foster positive team dynamics and resolve employee concerns
  • Collaborate with distribution center managers to align warehouse functions
  • Coordinate with managers outside the distribution center on inventory and quality initiatives
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workplace
  • Partner with other departments to resolve order fulfillment, inventory, and billing issues
  • Document and update warehouse procedures for receiving, replenishing, picking, packing, and shipping
  • Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through continuous improvement
  • Assess and plan labor resources based on future warehouse demands
  • Perform core managerial duties including evaluation, organization, integration, and delegation
  • Lead warehouse operations in compliance with company policies, OSHA, and regulatory standards
  • Oversee team member performance, including disciplinary actions and counseling
  • Control and reduce operational costs while increasing departmental productivity
  • Act as a collaborative change agent across departments
  • Manage workflow to achieve established productivity targets
  • Supervise and direct third-party vendor operations
  • Train new or reassigned staff on proper job methods and standard procedures
  • Collaborate with global logistics and external carriers to ensure on-time deliveries
  • Ensure accurate shipping of domestic, international, and hazardous goods
  • Complete assigned special projects as required

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel) and Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational and management abilities
  • Superior communication skills in writing, speaking, reading, and comprehension
  • Willingness to work extended and weekend hours

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
