Clinton Health Access Initiative is hiring a Manager, Global Markets Team

Responsibilities

  • Identify inefficiencies in procurement systems and create actionable solutions to enhance affordability in partnership with internal teams and external collaborators.
  • Conduct analytical work such as forecasting demand, evaluating pricing models, and assessing market behavior across regions.
  • Develop and execute strategies that reshape markets to increase efficiency and lower costs for health products in multiple countries and categories.
  • Assist in negotiating agreements with pharmaceutical and diagnostic firms on pricing and access programs, while supporting the development of strategic alliances.
  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with key players in a complex, politically sensitive environment, including government agencies, funding partners, and life sciences organizations.
  • Collaborate with team leadership and internal units to ensure market strategies support broader health system objectives and program outcomes.
  • Serve as a representative to external entities, donor groups, and industry platforms, ensuring activities align with organizational priorities.
  • Produce briefs, reports, and data analyses to inform global health policy and strengthen the evidence for impactful interventions.
  • Communicate analytical results and strategic insights to both internal teams and external audiences.
  • Propose new initiatives and work areas that support strategic goals, leveraging stakeholder engagement to identify funding and partnership opportunities.
  • Support proposal development and donor relations as part of broader business development activities.
  • Travel up to 40% internationally to meet stakeholders, lead negotiations, and participate in high-level meetings and events.

Work Arrangement

Remote — based in one of the organization's programmatic countries

Team

The Global Markets Team operates in a decentralized, matrixed structure, working closely with internal departments and external partners such as government agencies, donors, and life sciences companies. The position reports to the team lead.
