Responsibilities
- Direct the email security engineering team, establishing priorities, on-call schedules, and professional development plans for engineers across multiple sites.
- Manage the overall strategy and roadmap for email protection, covering gateway and cloud-native controls, sandboxing, impersonation defenses, and post-delivery remediation.
- Lead the authentication program for all sending domains, advancing SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to an enforcing posture while ensuring no disruption to legitimate business email.
- Collaborate with security operations and awareness teams on phishing response, user reporting workflows, and simulation outcomes, ensuring findings drive control adjustments.
- Provide metrics on detection rates, false positive rates, and mail flow health to security leadership, and support audit, privacy, and client assurance requests.
