About the Role

The role involves designing and executing consumer insight studies, translating data into strategic recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence product, marketing, and sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end consumer research projects using both qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Identify patterns in consumer behavior through data analysis and market trends
  • Develop actionable insights from survey results, focus groups, and sales data
  • Present findings to stakeholders with clear implications for business strategy
  • Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to enhance insight accuracy
  • Translate complex data sets into understandable reports and visualizations
  • Manage external research vendors and ensure quality deliverables
  • Design survey instruments and discussion guides tailored to business questions
  • Monitor changes in consumer preferences across categories and geographies
  • Support category management and shopper marketing initiatives with insight
  • Drive adoption of consumer insights across client teams and internal units
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research methodologies and industry tools
  • Ensure research compliance with data privacy and ethical standards
  • Work closely with product development teams to inform innovation pipelines
  • Track performance of insight initiatives using defined KPIs
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking using syndicated and proprietary data
  • Facilitate workshops to align teams around consumer-centric strategies
  • Use statistical software to analyze large datasets
  • Integrate multiple data sources for comprehensive consumer profiles
  • Communicate insights through dashboards, presentations, and written summaries
  • Support client-specific projects with tailored insight solutions
  • Contribute to long-term research roadmaps based on business priorities
  • Evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns using consumer response data
  • Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making
  • Stay current with emerging technologies in consumer research
