Responsibilities
- Guide, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and technical professionals working across multiple sites
- Plan, set priorities, and manage a collection of communications engineering projects
- Oversee resource distribution, capacity planning, and forecasting to maximize efficiency
- Ensure projects are delivered successfully according to scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards
- Review and authorize engineering outputs, technical designs, and project documentation
- Handle project financials, including cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, invoices, and change orders
- Collaborate with system architects and project managers to identify risks and implement mitigation plans
- Deliver regular portfolio-level updates to leadership on performance, costs, risks, and schedule status
- Drive ongoing improvements in engineering processes, tools, and execution methods
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external clients to maintain alignment and satisfaction
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career growth for team members
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and technical excellence
Compensation
