Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and implementing supply and demand strategies to broaden access to AI diagnostic tools.
- Actively seek chances to influence market conditions to improve the availability, affordability, and sustainability of key AI diagnostic products in low- and middle-income countries.
- Develop and sustain connections with relevant firms by sharing market insights and providing targeted support to enhance product and market readiness, including defining target product profiles, advising on access terms, and guiding regulatory and procurement processes.
- Facilitate discussions with AI and diagnostic companies regarding pricing and supply conditions.
- Foster strong partnerships with government, multilateral, and non-governmental organizations to coordinate access strategies and implementation.
- Coordinate with global and country teams to perform market analysis that informs market shaping strategies and access negotiations with companies.
- Collaborate with global and country teams to build the policy, evidence, and financial case for adopting AI diagnostics, including generating evidence, developing guidelines, reforming policies, and designing sustainable financing solutions.
- Support country readiness, product introduction, and scaling, including implementation design and planning, national registration pathways, workforce and health system strengthening, and procurement and supply chain improvements.
- Work with colleagues and external stakeholders to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects; create work plans that support market shaping goals and meet grant deliverables, monitor progress against program goals and donor commitments, identify operational issues, and collaborate with teams to achieve outstanding results on tight schedules.
- Contribute to fundraising and donor engagement, including developing proposals and reporting.
- Build and maintain organizational capacity and promote knowledge sharing opportunities.
- Manage oneself and direct or indirect reports effectively within a matrixed organization.
- Perform other duties as requested by the team lead or senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
- 8+ years with an advanced degree or 10+ years with a Bachelor's degree of relevant experience in strategy consulting or a similarly fast-paced, results-driven field, ideally with experience in market shaping, global health, or medtech.
- Proven ability to manage large projects, project design, and teams, including remote collaboration with team members across different geographies and time zones.
- Strong analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative) and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including creating analyses and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Exceptional diplomatic and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build strong professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders in a challenging, multicultural environment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, including the ability to work with minimal guidance, navigate ambiguity, and propose and implement new ideas and approaches.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel frequently and on short notice.
