Responsibilities
- Carry out facility upkeep and assigned repairs, including fixing conveyors, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems as directed by supervisors.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and fix mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly and effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rendering machinery such as pumps, augers, conveyors, and gearboxes.
- Complete all assignments following safety protocols and with maximum efficiency.
- Demonstrate expertise in high-speed food processing and packaging systems, including knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, cylinders, fillers, labelers, and conveyors; welding skills (Mig, Tig, stainless steel) are advantageous.
- Handle daily equipment upkeep and repair tasks.
- Label and tag systems or components for verification and tracking purposes.
- Diagnose and fix issues with high-speed food processing and packaging machinery.
- Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults in production equipment.
- Follow all safety standards and keep workspaces clean and organized.
- Support and manage IT infrastructure such as servers, switches, cabling, and desktop systems at designated sites.
- Configure Cisco switches for local area networks.
- Document the layout and configuration of local area networks at assigned locations.
- Record and maintain standard operating procedures for site-specific technologies used on-site.
- Possess a foundational knowledge of VLANs.
- Collaborate with end users to recommend new hardware and software solutions that align with business needs.
- Test hardware and software changes before deployment to production environments.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Lead technology initiatives in alignment with IT standards and guidelines.
- Provide technical support for computer systems on the production floor.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all printing systems at assigned locations.
- Perform data management tasks as needed.
- Conduct general facility maintenance including lawn care, painting, boiler upkeep, pump servicing, gate repairs, storage rack maintenance, and stormwater system checks.

Compensation
Hourly Pay negotiable – starts at $23.50 an hour and goes up based on experience.
