Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance operations for the UK's electric vehicle charging network, maintaining high standards in safety, service quality, and operational effectiveness.
  • Oversee scheduled, preventive, and emergency maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with contracts, regulations, and service level agreements.
  • Enhance charger availability and maximize network uptime by implementing strategic maintenance planning and performance tracking.
  • Investigate repeated technical failures and service disruptions, introducing corrective measures to boost system reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Supervise external maintenance vendors, suppliers, and service partners, ensuring adherence to KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations through regular performance evaluations.
  • Take full responsibility for Run & Maintain contract performance and compliance, identifying risks, improvement areas, and opportunities aligned with business goals.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for local authorities, contractors, and key stakeholders, fostering strong professional relationships.
  • Evaluate maintenance and operational data to detect trends, optimize service delivery, lower costs, and improve efficiency.
  • Control maintenance budgets, manage contractor spending, purchase orders, and invoice approvals to ensure financial accountability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee inventory management, spare parts supply, and stock control to ensure component availability, reduce downtime, and support network expansion.
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Asset Management, Project Delivery, Finance, Product, and other internal departments to resolve operational challenges and advance business goals.
  • Promote a culture of ongoing improvement by identifying and executing initiatives that strengthen operational performance, customer experience, and maintenance efficiency.
