International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory is hiring a Maintenance & Installation Officer

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the continuous availability of technical systems and utilities required for operations.
  • Develop and update the preventive maintenance programme in collaboration with M&I.
  • Inspect operating machines and equipment to verify compliance with operational standards.
  • Identify the appropriate tools, parts and equipment required to perform maintenance tasks.
  • Read, understand and interpret diagrams and technical specifications, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and compressed air.
  • Recommend and implement measures to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance and service quality.
  • Perform maintenance routines and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Assemble, install and support equipment in buildings and laboratories to meet operational needs.
  • Provide immediate support in the event of breakdowns.
