Requirements
- Proficiency in DB2 (Z/OS) application development with working knowledge of DB2 SQL
- Experience in CICS application programming
- Strong background in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, Zeke, and X/PTR
- Familiarity with structured software development approaches, particularly the waterfall model
- Hands-on experience using COBOL debugging tools such as XPEDITOR or CA-Intertest
- Candidates must be based locally in the Raleigh or Triangle region
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management abilities
- Capable of explaining complex technical topics to both technical teams and non-IT business staff
- Skilled in building and maintaining client relationships and partnerships
- Proven track record in diagnosing system issues and implementing effective resolutions
Nice to Have
- Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing functional specifications, creating test cases, and executing unit tests
- Strong written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with QMF, SPUFI, and FILEAID or CA-RC-Browse tools
