Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining machine learning workflows that process image, video, text, geospatial, time series, and structured datasets
- Automating and managing intricate data engineering and analytical workflows
- Defining, planning, and occasionally developing core features of software products
- Performing essential on-site work to support clients and stakeholders in operational settings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, machine learning, or a closely related field, plus two or more years of applicable experience
- Proven involvement in systems centered on data handling, including data engineering, cleaning, ETL processes, machine learning, or production analytics
- Strong foundation in software engineering principles such as algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and proficiency in at least one systems programming language like Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Scala
- High competency in Python and practical experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Familiarity with current software development practices including Agile methodologies, version control, issue tracking, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging techniques
- Current Active Secret security clearance or higher issued by the US government
- Must be a citizen of the United States
Nice to Have
- Advanced academic qualification such as an MS, MEng, or PhD in computer science, machine learning, data science, or a related technical field
- Exceptional Python programming skills with in-depth understanding of libraries including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Understanding of modern client-server architectures and design patterns, including asynchronous programming, REST, GraphQL, and front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular
- Hands-on experience deploying software in containerized or cloud-based platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure environments
- Background in applying machine learning models to visual data such as images or video
- Experience developing agentic systems, AI agents, or orchestrating agentic workflows
- Track record in scoping, planning, and delivering complex technical projects
- Prior work delivering technology solutions within secure government or classified settings
