Responsibilities
- Play a key role in building, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, low-latency ML services for ranking, recommendations, and forecasting.
- Work with data scientists, product managers, and other teams to develop effective solutions for product and infrastructure challenges.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate ideas and improve models.
- Provide guidance on data strategies to support future data science initiatives.
- Develop ML models that meet engineering standards, ensuring resilience, scalability, and future-proofing.
- Improve the AWS-native MLOps platform to ensure high availability and low-latency model inference.

Requirements
- Strong foundation in traditional ML techniques and the model lifecycle, with practical experience in handling class imbalance, tuning hyperparameters, and avoiding overfitting.
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and monitoring ML services to address customer and business needs.
- Excellent Python programming skills for delivering well-structured, documented, and production-ready code.
- Experience with large datasets and proficiency in SQL, with additional exposure to Snowflake and dbt being beneficial.
- Curiosity about customer needs and a pragmatic, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and work effectively with diverse teams.
- Positive and optimistic mindset, with the ability to overcome setbacks and motivate others.
