Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Metal as a Service (MAAS) software using Python to support diverse server and network hardware.
- Extend MAAS capabilities by building integrations with testing and job scheduling platforms like Testflinger.
- Help maintain and improve the Testflinger testing framework through direct contributions.
- Remotely manage an automated server laboratory equipped with cutting-edge silicon from top hardware vendors, ensuring reliable access for internal teams.
- Enhance monitoring systems for hardware and networking components through automated solutions.
- Work closely with MAAS development teams, data centre hardware experts, Ubuntu certification teams, kernel developers, and other groups utilizing the hardware lab.
