Responsibilities
- Design and deploy automated management solutions for the M365 environment using PowerShell, Bash, and Terraform.
- Secure and monitor M365 services through infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
- Develop and sustain platform-wide automation with Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Power Automate to respond to system events.
- Administer and protect Exchange Online by configuring mail flow, anti-phishing settings, transport rules, and mailbox setup.
- Lead Exchange migrations from on-premises to cloud and between tenants, including planning, execution, coexistence, and stabilization phases.
- Apply standardized migration playbooks to support ongoing mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Create and manage SharePoint Online sites following defined information architecture, including structure, taxonomy, metadata, and access controls.
- Support the evolution of the SharePoint environment and broader collaboration initiatives across the organization.
- Enable and oversee the Power Platform ecosystem, empowering users to develop custom apps and automations.
- Define and enforce Power Platform governance policies such as environment design, data loss prevention, connector usage, and Center of Excellence practices.
- Implement security configurations across the M365 suite, including Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Purview features.
- Manage data governance settings for sensitivity labeling, retention, eDiscovery, and Copilot integrations.
- Develop self-service tools and automated workflows to minimize manual administrative effort.
- Work with the security team to maintain compliance with regulations and internal controls, including ITGC requirements.
- Document system configurations, automation scripts, and operational processes.
On-Call Participation
Participate in an on-call rotation to address platform incidents and ensure system reliability.
Team Collaboration and Mentorship
Collaborate with and guide the service desk team to reduce manual tasks related to M365 operations.
