About the Role
This position involves crafting personalized, high-end travel experiences for clients seeking unique and exclusive destinations. The ideal candidate will combine deep destination knowledge with strong client communication skills to manage end-to-end trip planning.
Responsibilities
- Design custom itineraries tailored to individual client preferences and budgets
- Research and source premium accommodations, private tours, and unique experiences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of luxury travel trends and emerging destinations
- Communicate regularly with clients to refine travel plans and address inquiries
- Coordinate with global partners to secure reservations and special arrangements
- Manage multiple bookings simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
- Provide pre-trip guidance, including packing tips, local customs, and logistics
- Troubleshoot travel disruptions and assist clients during their journeys
- Ensure all travel documents and requirements are accurately prepared
- Maintain detailed client records and preferences for future planning
- Recommend upgrades or enhancements to elevate the travel experience
- Follow up post-trip to gather feedback and strengthen client relationships
- Stay compliant with international travel regulations and advisories
- Leverage CRM tools to track client interactions and trip progress
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service
- Handle sensitive client information with discretion and professionalism
- Adapt plans quickly in response to changing client needs or external factors
- Source exclusive access opportunities such as private viewings or events
- Monitor travel insurance and health requirements for international clients
- Support sustainable and responsible tourism practices in itinerary design
Nice to Have
- Certification from a recognized travel industry body
- Portfolio of successfully executed luxury itineraries
- Direct experience with villa rentals or private jet coordination
- Established network of luxury travel contacts
- Background in concierge or five-star hospitality services
- Firsthand travel experience in at least five continents
- Knowledge of cultural etiquette in diverse regions
- Experience using design tools to present travel plans
- Track record of exceeding client satisfaction metrics
- Familiarity with luxury cruise lines and safari operators
