Responsibilities
- Oversee logistics for large-scale engineering equipment including incinerators, heat exchangers, and boilers.
- Coordinate shipping activities through key Indian ports such as JNPT (Nhava Sheva), Hazira, Mundra, and Kandla.
- Plan and manage breakbulk cargo operations, including loading and port handling procedures.
- Collaborate with port officials, shipping companies, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage complete export and import documentation and execution from start to finish.
- Utilize the ICEGATE platform for filing shipping bills, bills of entry, EGM/IGM submissions, and processing drawback and RoDTEP claims.
- Work with Customs House Agents to facilitate customs clearance processes.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and air cargo providers for booking and planning shipments.
- Plan container usage by selecting appropriate types, optimizing space, and configuring cargo layout.
- Handle documentation and coordination for both air and sea freight movements.
- Organize transportation logistics, including vehicle scheduling, route design, and real-time shipment tracking.
- Engage with transport providers to guarantee on-time dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain clear understanding of billing processes for freight forwarders, CHAs, and transporters.
- Verify and reconcile invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with finance and accounts teams to ensure timely vendor payments, prevent demurrage or detention fees, and follow up on pending actions.
- Manage domestic and international courier services, including DHL and alternative providers.
- Ensure prompt preparation and dispatch of all required documentation.
