Responsibilities
- Manage shared logistics inboxes and communication channels, ensuring requests are reviewed, prioritized, and resolved within established timelines
- Create, review, and distribute transportation documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipment paperwork, and related logistics documents
- Prepare and maintain export documentation and shipping records to support domestic and international shipments
- Coordinate with internal teams, carriers, brokers, and external partners to ensure shipping documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines
- Coordinate daily communication between internal departments, external customers, carriers, and logistics partners to support operational continuity
- Maintain accurate and organized logistics documentation, shipment records, and supporting paperwork across internal systems
- Analyze shipment exceptions, documentation discrepancies, service failures, and operational constraints; determine appropriate corrective actions and coordinate resolution across carriers, brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Track open requests and follow through to completion, proactively communicating updates, delays, and escalations to appropriate stakeholders
- Evaluate transportation requirements and coordinate appropriate routing and service solutions within established business parameters, considering customer requirements, capacity, service needs, and operational constraints
- Professionally engage with external customers and carriers to resolve issues, provide updates, and maintain positive working relationships
- Prioritize multiple operational requests simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and responsiveness
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, warehouse, sales support/customer service, and other operational teams to support business objectives
- Identify recurring logistics issues and service challenges, evaluate root causes, and recommend process or workflow improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service levels
- Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing and resolving transportation issues based on business impact, customer requirements, cost, service risk, and operational urgency
- Serve as a logistics subject-matter resource to internal stakeholders, providing recommendations regarding transportation options, shipment requirements, routing options, and exception management
- Own assigned logistics workflows and exceptions from identification through resolution, determining when issues can be independently resolved and when escalation or management approval is warranted
- Support reporting, data entry, and system updates to maintain operational visibility and documentation accuracy

Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer service, administrative support, or a related operational environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Ability to professionally communicate with external customers, carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately and support timely resolution
