Waveguide LLC, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Loge Attendant (Préposé(e) au Loge) to provide premium food and beverage service during events at Place Bell in Laval. In this role, you will welcome guests and serve them efficiently in a fast-paced dining room environment.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests warmly and efficiently take food and drink orders following established service steps.
- Serve food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrate thorough menu knowledge, advise on pairings, and accommodate dietary preferences.
- Communicate directly with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and special request fulfillment.
- Respond promptly to guest concerns and relay information to your supervisor.
- Prepare and clean the dining room before and after service, keeping the area tidy.
- Collaborate with other service staff to complete tasks during special events.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in speaking French.
- Physical ability to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for most of your shift.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in the food service industry.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $31.91 per hour (starting rate).
