Responsibilities
- Process, evaluate, and manage files for translation in PC software projects.
- Develop and sustain custom scripts and utilities to streamline localization procedures.
- Work closely with translators, project managers, and engineering teams to incorporate translated content.
- Diagnose and resolve problems related to text encoding, layout, and file format conversions.
- Verify localized builds for correctness and adherence to technical and linguistic standards.
- Keep updated documentation for tools, pipelines, and operational processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a relevant technical discipline
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years in localization engineering or a comparable technical position
- Understanding of localization processes and common file formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV
- Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python
- Hands-on experience using the Linux bash command line
- Background in designing and managing automated pipelines
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems

- Advanced degree (Master’s) preferred
- Experience with or exposure to build automation systems is a plus
