Responsibilities

  • Verify insurance coverage for all secured loans
  • Monitor policy expiration dates and renewal requirements
  • Ensure compliance with loan agreement insurance terms
  • Coordinate with lenders and borrowers to obtain missing documentation
  • Update loan files with current insurance records
  • Flag accounts with inadequate or lapsed coverage
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to validate policy details
  • Maintain accurate logs of insurance tracking activities
  • Support audits by providing documented proof of coverage
  • Assist in resolving insurance-related loan servicing issues
  • Process insurance premium payments when applicable
  • Review property and casualty insurance for alignment with collateral value
  • Identify exceptions and escalate unresolved items
  • Follow up on force-placed insurance requirements
  • Ensure proper naming of lender as loss payee
  • Track flood insurance compliance for designated zones
  • Apply regulatory guidelines to insurance monitoring practices
