Responsibilities
- Obtain medical records using authorizations and subpoenas, with consistent follow-up to ensure timely receipt.
- Organize case information through structured discovery logs and records charts to improve workflow efficiency.
- Support legal strategy by submitting public records requests and conducting background checks.
- Review and condense medical documentation into clear summaries and chronological treatment timelines.
- Assist legal counsel during depositions by summarizing testimony, tracking discovery items, and monitoring response deadlines.
- Evaluate and sort documents received from opposing parties and co-defendants for accurate discovery management.
- Assemble case materials for expert review, ensuring complete and relevant documentation is available.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible case files to support legal team productivity.
- Work collaboratively with team members to promote effective communication and case progression.
