Responsibilities
- Wipes down ledges and window sills to remove dust and debris
- Cleans and polishes office furniture surfaces regularly
- Cleans walls, dividers, light switches, and door surfaces as needed
- Polishes chrome and stainless-steel fixtures and fittings
- Cleans glass on partitions and structural pillars within easy reach
- Disinfects and wipes telephones to maintain hygiene
- Cleans smudges and spots on glass doors and partitions
- Cleans locker rooms and tenant-specific areas when required
- Cleans and sanitizes all washroom fixtures including toilets, sinks, mirrors, dispensers, and floors
- Refills washroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue
- Empties and removes waste bins from washrooms, lounges, and general areas
- Dusts baseboards and low-level air vents
- Sweeps stairwells and spot mops steps as necessary
- Conducts equipment pre-use inspections and checks
- Vacuums and wipes fabric-covered furniture on a set schedule
- Dry mops floors to remove dust and particulates
- Vacuums carpets and treats stains according to schedule
- Empties and sanitizes garbage containers
- Cleans medical-related spills or water floods using appropriate personal protective equipment
- Collects litter and removes cigarette waste from floor and curb areas
- Transfers garbage bags from service carts to designated collection points or compactor bins
- Damp mops or spot cleans hard flooring surfaces
- Responds immediately to spill reports and cleans affected areas
- Cleans and organizes the supply room at shift completion
- Cleans and maintains equipment before and after each use
Compensation
$19.83/hour, with a $1.00 increase effective July 1, 2026

Other
- Position is a 3-month contract with possible transition to full-time
- Shift options are Day (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) or Afternoon (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Performs pre-operation checks on all equipment
- Maintains and cleans tools and machinery before and after use
- Manages assigned keys and cleaning equipment
- Follows assigned cleaning route for designated zone
- Uses correct tools for each specific cleaning task
- Applies color-coded cloths as required for sanitation compliance
- Operates iOS-based technology to log and verify task completion and waste pickups
- Attends all required technical training sessions
