Responsibilities
- Work with department leaders to develop resolution strategies and protocols based on project needs and client instructions.
- Coordinate with lien resolution operations teams on milestones, deliverables, and timelines related to health plan agencies, and assist in client communications when needed.
- Monitor the progress of health plan agency resolutions to ensure program and protocol requirements are met, non-program resolutions meet internal service standards, and any delays or issues are identified and escalated.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive directory of health plan agency profiles, including key contacts, essential data points, and operational details for each relationship.
- Integrate directory items into operational tools and update or monitor them as necessary.
- Act as the primary contact for health plan agencies, including serving as the authorized representative for agency portal and account access.
- Maintain regular communication and coordinate agency relationship meetings to ensure protocol compliance, monitor relationships, and proactively identify issues.
- Help other operations team members create, produce, and distribute reports for clients and health plan agencies.
- Participate in and contribute to regular meetings with the technology and development team regarding the ongoing development of the company portal.
- Collaborate with the technology and development team on tool implementation and issue identification and prioritization as they occur.
- Assist with miscellaneous lien resolution tasks as needed.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience managing relationships with external stakeholders such as government agencies, health plans, or managed care organizations, within lien resolution, Medicare/Medicaid coordination, or healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Experience working with technical data and resolving data-related issues with internal teams.
- Effective cross-functional collaborator across legal, operations, and technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort navigating ambiguity with minimal oversight.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and follow-through.
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to engage internal teams and external agency partners.
- Team-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
