Kind Behavioral Health is hiring a Licensed Psychologist Associate (LPA)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based assessment tools and protocols
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and observational measures appropriate for ASD and developmental disability evaluations
  • Write detailed, clinically sound psychological evaluation reports that meet professional standards and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver evaluation findings and recommendations to families, caregivers, and referring providers in a clear and compassionate manner
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), RBTs, intake, and other KBH team members to ensure smooth care transitions from diagnostics to ABA services
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with KBH policies and professional standards
  • Participate in clinical supervision with a Licensed Psychologist (LP) as required by North Carolina licensing regulations
  • Travel to KBH clinic locations throughout the Triangle, Fayetteville, Wilmington, and Charlotte to conduct in-person assessments

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology from an accredited program
  • 1-2 years clinical experience conducting psychological evaluations, preferably with ASD populations
  • 2+ years direct experience with autism diagnostic tools
  • Active Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) credential in North Carolina
  • Experience working in pediatric or developmental disability settings
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to clinic locations: Approximately 25% of work time involves travel outside the diagnostician's home market

  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and treatment approaches
