Cortica is looking for a remote, part-time Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join Spark Advisors and our multi-disciplinary team. You will deliver direct counseling services to children and families, using a variety of therapeutic approaches to support those affected by neurodevelopmental differences.
What You'll Do
- Deliver direct counseling services to children, parents, siblings, couples, and families.
- Utilize therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Attend to relational ethics and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure wrap-around support.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
- Comply with clinic policies and all state, federal, and licensing board laws, regulations, and requirements.
- Adhere to and support team adherence to organizational standards and confidentiality policies.
- Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
- Apply knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of California.
- Ability to obtain cross-state licensure in new states as indicated by business needs.
- Well-grounded in empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches.
- Commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care.
- Open-minded desire to learn from other professional disciplines and knowledge bases.
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
