Responsibilities

• Support pre-surgical and post-surgical visits and assist during operations.
• Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative care, recovery plans, and clinic-specific guidelines.
• Observe patient reactions and report issues to a Registered Nurse or Physician.
• Ensure proper clinical records are kept and patient privacy is maintained in line with HIPAA regulations.
• Follow clinic safety standards and assist with equipment sterilization.
• Prepare operating room setups, position patients, and organize surgical instruments.
• Record accurate intraoperative details, including Time Out verification and surgical notes.
• Follow laser safety protocols, manage medication labels, and handle medical equipment properly.
• Help with post-procedure cleanup, apply dressings, and support patient discharge procedures.
• Monitor inventory and manage medical supplies and equipment needs.
• Use internal systems such as Manuals Portal and QM for compliance tracking and documentation.
• Attend required meetings, training sessions, and maintain all necessary certifications.
• Assist with photograph uploads, scheduling follow-up appointments, and general clinic tasks.
