Responsibilities
- Support pre-surgical and post-surgical visits as well as assist during operations.
- Inform patients about care before and after surgery, recovery processes, and clinic guidelines.
- Observe patient reactions and report urgent issues to a Registered Nurse or Physician.
- Ensure proper recording of clinical data and uphold patient privacy in line with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow clinic protocols for safety and equipment sterilization.
- Set up operating rooms, position patients correctly, and prepare surgical instruments.
- Record accurate intraoperative details including time checks and procedure notes.
- Follow laser safety practices, properly label medications, and handle medical equipment safely.
- Help with post-procedure cleanup, apply dressings, and support patient discharge procedures.
- Monitor inventory and manage medical supplies and equipment upkeep.
- Utilize internal systems and digital tools for compliance tracking and documentation.
- Attend required meetings, training sessions, and maintain all necessary certifications.
- Support photography documentation, schedule appointments, and assist with general clinic operations.

- Must hold a current, valid license and fulfill all renewal obligations.

- Required to understand and adhere to OSHA, AAAHC, and internal quality standards.
- Expected to contribute to clinic performance metrics and key performance indicators.
