Responsibilities
- Conducts assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, contributing to personalized care plans while consulting with healthcare staff as necessary.
- Carries out treatment plans as directed by healthcare providers, including medication administration and IV therapy when certified, and performs diagnostic evaluations following established protocols.
- Participates in controlled substance audits at shift start, follows safety standards, and responds to medical emergencies or code situations in alignment with facility guidelines.
- Supports medical and minor surgical procedures, applies therapeutic nutrition plans, and records patient interactions using SOAP documentation to ensure clear communication across care teams.
- Attends required meetings and training sessions, actively engaging in professional growth and maintaining compliance with organizational standards to support high-quality care delivery.
