Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and effective nursing care delivery, achieving positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction in line with accepted practice standards, state and federal regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Operate within the scope of practice defined by the state Nurse Practice Act.
- Supervise resident care and direct nursing activities during assigned shifts, including staff assignments, mentoring and educating nursing personnel, and collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals.
Requirements
- Active and in good standing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- A fire and passion for working with seniors.
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.
