Responsibilities
- Support pre-operative and post-operative visits and assist during surgical interventions
- Inform patients about pre- and post-surgical care, recovery processes, and clinic-specific guidelines
- Observe patient reactions and report any issues to the Registered Nurse or Physician
- Keep accurate medical records and protect patient privacy in line with HIPAA regulations
- Follow clinic safety standards and assist with sterilization practices
- Prepare operating room setups, position patients, and organize surgical instruments
- Document intraoperative details accurately, including time-out verification and procedure notes
- Support safe use of lasers, proper labeling of medications, and correct handling of equipment
- Help with post-procedure cleanup, wound dressing, and preparing patients for discharge
- Monitor inventory levels and manage medical supplies and devices
- Utilize internal systems such as the Manuals Portal and QM for compliance and recordkeeping
- Attend team meetings, complete required training, and maintain all necessary certifications
- Assist with uploading medical photos, scheduling appointments, and other daily clinic operations
- Demonstrate professional conduct, build positive patient relationships, and apply sound clinical judgment
- Know and uphold standards set by OSHA, AAAHC, and internal quality policies
- Contribute to achieving clinic performance metrics and key performance indicators
- Remain up to date with organizational policies, protocols, and safety documentation

- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
- Required to stand for extended periods
- Able to function effectively in fast-paced clinical settings
- Must hold a valid, active nursing license and fulfill renewal requirements
- Expected to understand and enforce OSHA, AAAHC, and company quality standards
- Expected to support clinic performance goals and KPIs
- Required to stay informed on current company policies, procedures, and safety manuals
