Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist dyslexia and literacy assessments
- Plan and deliver evidence-based interventions for children and young people
- Support teachers, SENCOs, and families with practical, targeted strategies
- Contribute to EHCP assessments and reviews where appropriate
- Advise on exam access arrangements
- Deliver training and build staff confidence in dyslexia-inclusive practice
- Help create inclusive learning environments where pupils can thrive
Requirements
- A Level 7 qualification in Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties (Assessment and Intervention)
- Experience working with children and young people in educational settings
- Excellent communication and consultation skills
- A collaborative approach and a passion for inclusive education
- The ability to build strong relationships with schools, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues
