Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely counsel to executives and other stakeholders on a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, etc.)
- Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies to protect the company's interests.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
- Manage and maintain the contract database and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
- Monitor compliance with statutory obligations and advise on current and future regulatory changes.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Handle and resolve any legal disputes or litigation involving the company.
- Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Ensure the company's operations comply with corporate governance practices and internal policies.
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of corporate records, including board minutes and resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legal developments and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in law firms or in-house legal departments, preferably within the logistics industry.
- Proficient in drafting and negotiations.
- Excellent in both Arabic and English languages.
