Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, balancing legal risk with rapid business growth.
- Develop, maintain, and iterate on a comprehensive contract playbook including standard terms, fallback positions, escalation protocols, and approved language for high-frequency deal types.
- Implement and manage AI-powered legal tools in live workflows, assessing their performance relative to manual review to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide strategic legal guidance on high-impact commercial initiatives such as key partnerships, product launches, and entry into new markets.
- Engage external legal counsel strategically, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with risk tolerance.
- Collaborate across departments including product, finance, compliance, and leadership to integrate legal insights early in commercial processes.
- Support additional legal workstreams as business demands, aligning commercial goals with regulatory compliance and risk management.
