Palantir Technologies is hiring a Legal Counsel - US Government

Responsibilities

  • Assess the company’s engagements with U.S. government clients and deliver legal guidance that supports strategic business objectives.
  • Prepare, review, and negotiate contractual agreements and software licensing terms.
  • Provide counsel on matters related to product development, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, data protection, and conflict avoidance.
  • Formulate and execute plans to respond to government investigations or formal inquiries.
  • Track and interpret changes in federal laws, regulations, and policy initiatives affecting government-sector operations, including those concerning artificial intelligence, data governance, and national security technologies.
  • Participate in policy advocacy efforts, including contributing to agency rulemaking responses, collaborating with government affairs teams on legislative outreach, and shaping public policy positions.
  • Apply independent judgment and innovative thinking to resolve complex legal and business challenges.
