Responsibilities
- Handle IP protection and infringement matters, such as trademark registrations, copyright and trademark enforcement matters, pre-litigation and litigation in France and abroad.
- Contribute meaningfully to the company’s global IP portfolio and protection of its brands, products and content.
- Assist on a variety of agreements and legal matters across Voodoo’s products and activities, with a particular focus on IP-related provision, licensing, protection and risk management.
- Exposure to broader commercial contract work is a plus.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve how the legal team supports the business.
Requirements
- One to three years of relevant legal experience, ideally in an IP, litigation, media or tech-focused department of a law firm, or in-house with a tech/advertising company.
- Strong knowledge of IP law (copyright, trademarks, designs).
- Experience with litigation, particularly IP-related, in France.
- Fluency in English and French (written and spoken).
Nice to Have
- Exposure to EU or US legal systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated interest or passion for IP strategy, protection and enforcement.
- Prior experience in gaming or tech (ad tech, entertainment, social media) (either in your matters as a lawyer or in house).
- Experience in both France and another jurisdiction (notably a common law country) will be highly considered.
