Responsibilities
- Format and proofread legal documents, ensuring exhibits are properly prepared, redacted, and organized.
- Submit electronic filings to state and federal courts while adhering to procedural requirements.
- Establish and manage new client cases with accurate document indexing and digital file maintenance.
- Perform legal research and retrieve relevant court rulings using Westlaw.
- Draft various written communications, including billing cover letters.
- Enter billing details accurately into the firm’s designated time and expense system.
- Arrange and manage scheduling for depositions, meetings, and attorney calendars.
- Handle third-party vendor invoices by processing, tracking, and coordinating with accounting.
