Ackermann Group is hiring a Leasing Consultant - Reserve at Hamburg

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective and current residents to showcase the apartment community positively while maintaining target occupancy levels.
  • Handle sales and administrative duties, with occasional light physical work.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of community features, fair housing regulations, and lease policies.
  • Ensure all leasing documents, fair housing compliance records, and resident interactions are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Maintain knowledge of basic community data such as unit count, construction year, building materials, and utility providers.
  • Stay informed about local and regional market conditions to effectively tailor sales strategies.
  • Regularly inspect units and the community grounds to ensure readiness for showings, address minor issues like trash pickup or tidying, and coordinate with the maintenance team as needed.
  • Serve as the primary contact for prospect and resident inquiries via in-person, phone, or digital channels, convert inquiries into tours, and escalate complex issues to management.
  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences that lead to positive reviews.
  • Proactively identify and resolve resident concerns independently, including suggesting improvements to the community manager to enhance satisfaction.
  • Attend after-hours resident events and may lead community outreach efforts to promote the property.
  • Greet and tour prospective residents, achieving lease signings at a reasonable rate.
  • Complete all administrative tasks related to leasing and move-ins, such as guest card entries and lease preparation.
  • Document and potentially schedule routine maintenance requests from residents.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in property management and CRM software to manage prospect data, resident details, tasks, and follow-ups, including logging guest cards, tracking interactions, scheduling appointments, and generating reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team, including maintenance staff and the community manager, to ensure prompt and efficient resident service and high satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the community manager.

On-site — Lexington, Kentucky

Other

  • Full-time position.
  • Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm + rotating Saturdays, 9:00am - 4:00pm.
  • Occasional light manual labor.
  • May participate in resident after hours events.
  • May be responsible for certain community outreach efforts.
