Collabera is hiring a Lead User Experience (UX) Designer

Responsibilities

  • Translate concepts, market opportunities, user research, and creative direction into functional design solutions that deliver clear, usable, and desirable user outcomes
  • Develop comprehensive UX documentation including wireframes, information architecture, mental models, personas, usability test materials, sitemaps, storyboards, user flows, and high- and low-fidelity prototypes
  • Define and promote UX best practices and design thinking methodologies to advance digital product quality
  • Drive UX design activities within agile workflows, delivering timely, high-quality outputs aligned with sprint timelines
  • Guide a team of UX designers through all stages of product development, launch, and iterative improvement
  • Collaborate with international business stakeholders to ideate and develop cross-channel user experiences for mobile, tablet, and desktop interfaces
  • Partner with key stakeholders such as UX researchers, product owners, technical leads, developers, strategists, project managers, and visual designers to ensure cohesive product delivery
  • Advocate for end users by integrating data-driven insights and research findings into the design process through close collaboration with research teams
  • Enforce compliance with established design standards, best practices, and brand guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Transform ideas, business opportunities, research and creative vision into tangible assets that provide clear, usable, useful and desirable outcomes for users
  • Create detailed wireframes, information architecture diagrams, mental models, personae’s, usability testing stimulus, site maps, story boards, user flows and high / low fidelity prototypes along with a wide range of UX assets and deliverables
  • Lead and establish best practices and design thinking / process - driving best digital experiences
  • Lead UX design works in agile, fast moving environment – fluently deliver just in time design works for sprint cycles while enhancing the quality and experience of the products
  • Lead a team of UX designers through all phases of product development, ship, and iterate
  • Manage relationships with global business partners, brainstorm and create concepts which form the user experiences cross channel (mobile, tablet and desktop )
  • Work in collaboration with key project team members, including user experience researchers, product owners, tech leads, developers, strategy, PM, and visual design
  • Be a passionate advocate for the user, ground ideas in data driven solutions by partnering with our User Experience Research team to incorporate customer insights and principles throughout the creative process.
  • Ensure adherence to design best practices, standards, brand consistency

Qualifications: • Associates degree or related experience in a technical field required• Professional experience in web development, including website development, building site pages and developing code• Working knowledge of developing and integrating themes into WordPress• HTML page creation from raw format design files – such as Photoshop PSD files• Fluent in CSS tableless layouts and experience with CSS frameworks such as Foundation or Bootstrap• Ability to write, debug and test scripting languages like Javascript and experience with frameworks such as jQuery and jQueryUI• API Integration into existing CMS systems (preferably WordPress)• Managing and organizing source code revisions and files with versioning tools such as Git or SVN• Build site pages, unit test, and support the implementation of customer web sites• Analyze and document user requirements.• Maintain and update new and existing customer websites• Acquire and maintain knowledge of current standards, policies and procedures• Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional units to ensure quality• Maintain and develop technical skills to keep current in systems programming and analysis techniques Additional Information: All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
