Responsibilities
- Designs and executes both automated and manual test procedures, including test analysis, design, and execution
- Evaluates test outcomes to identify opportunities for enhancing processes, productivity, and overall quality
- Collaborates with development teams to diagnose defects, support fixes, and ensure accurate error reporting
- Conducts and maintains retesting and regression testing activities
- Maintains and updates comprehensive test documentation
- Leads end-to-end testing initiatives across multiple software projects to ensure adherence to quality, performance, and security standards
- Oversees critical test case development and reviews test plans for completeness and effectiveness
- Interprets complex test results and directs troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly
- Assesses existing testing methodologies and introduces improvements to boost efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage
- Provides detailed reports on testing progress, obstacles, and results to senior leadership, supporting product quality and release decisions
