Responsibilities
- Act as the principal technical authority for Naval Special Warfare clients, directing the design and evolution of mission-critical and enterprise-wide systems.
- Formulate and execute technology strategies that support NSW operational goals, emphasizing system scalability, cybersecurity, and mission continuity.
- Assess and integrate cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and advanced data analytics to enhance mission performance.
- Deliver strategic technical guidance and presentations to high-level Navy officials and program decision-makers.
- Design and oversee the integration of secure enterprise and operational systems across hybrid and multi-cloud infrastructures.
- Advance modernization efforts including enterprise resource planning upgrades, data management platforms, and mission-enabling systems.
- Design adaptable technical solutions using AWS, containerized environments, APIs, and modern DevSecOps workflows.
- Ensure all systems comply with Department of Defense cybersecurity standards such as RMF, Zero Trust, and FISMA.
- Lead engineering teams developing secure software and infrastructure in classified and high-stakes operational settings.
- Mentor development teams in adopting modern software practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated deployment.
- Ensure timely delivery of robust, high-performance technical solutions that meet mission requirements.
- Manage integration of new systems with existing Navy and DoD enterprise architectures.
- Collaborate with NSW leadership, program managers, and operational personnel to convert mission needs into actionable technical designs.
- Promote coordination among government entities, engineering units, and external partners.
- Translate complex technical details into clear, accessible communication for diverse audiences.
