Gcore is hiring a Lead Systems Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Systems Engineer to oversee, manage, and optimize our Edge Network infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support business operations. What you'll do: - Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of edge infrastructure, including servers, networking, and a lot of infrastructure glue. - Ensure high availability, performance, and security hardening of the systems. - Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical direction, goals and support. - Implement and manage automation for system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance. - Establish and enforce best practices for systems engineering, observability, and incident response. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including: product, RnD, network, security, and support. - Continuously improving configuration management, automation, observability, agentic workflows and tools. - Participate in on-call rotations and incident management as needed. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to infrastructure and processes.
