Responsibilities
- Guide the development and ongoing refinement of core game systems, including large- and small-scale economies, progression frameworks, reward structures, and recurring gameplay loops that support lasting player engagement
- Create intuitive and accessible interactive features and gameplay mechanics centered on simplicity and emotional connection
- Work closely with engineering, art, and production teams to ensure system designs are cohesive, technically achievable, and in line with the project's creative vision
- Use player behavior data and analytics to refine economic models and gameplay experiences that encourage sustained return over years
- Provide mentorship and leadership to a small group of designers, fostering their professional growth in a cooperative setting
- Promote and uphold high standards in systems design, economy balancing, and iterative live-feature development
- Contribute to the enhancement of internal design tools and workflows to increase efficiency and capability across the design team
