About the Role
We are seeking a strong technical leader to guide our backend development efforts, manage engineering best practices, and contribute to the architecture of scalable systems built primarily in Golang.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of backend services using Golang
- Mentor and guide junior developers through code reviews and technical coaching
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical roadmaps
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance across services
- Drive adoption of testing frameworks and automated CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in architectural discussions and system design decisions
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in distributed systems
- Enforce coding standards and promote maintainable software practices
- Evaluate and integrate third-party tools and libraries
- Support deployment processes and infrastructure improvements
- Work closely with frontend teams to define APIs and data contracts
- Monitor system health and implement observability solutions
- Contribute to security best practices and vulnerability management
- Lead technical documentation efforts for internal teams
- Coordinate with DevOps on deployment strategies and monitoring
- Identify technical debt and prioritize refactoring initiatives
- Support agile development cycles and sprint planning
- Assist in defining performance benchmarks and SLAs
- Promote knowledge sharing through internal tech talks
- Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory standards
- Optimize database queries and data access patterns
- Improve system resilience and fault tolerance
- Contribute to disaster recovery planning
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis
