iHerb is hiring a Lead, Site Merchandising

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define metadata requirements for a new PIM system, covering enhanced media, translations, and category-specific attributes.
  • Refine algorithms and key factors influencing product ranking displays in partnership with Product and Engineering.
  • Develop and enhance merchandising tools, personalization features, and search functionality with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Partner with data science and business intelligence to establish, build, and maintain core performance metrics for strategic decision-making.
  • Adapt global merchandising strategies to meet regional market needs and support creation of localized store experiences.
  • Align with Marketing to ensure consistency between retail advertising services and site merchandising initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and Inventory teams to align product availability with merchandising priorities.
  • Support strategic brand placements and promotional campaigns in collaboration with Merchandising teams.
  • Work with Finance, Pricing, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations to ensure alignment on financial targets and business goals.
  • Develop and implement the global site merchandising strategy across all platforms and regional markets.
  • Enhance product discovery, category layouts, and promotional placements to increase conversion and revenue.
  • Lead execution of on-site campaigns such as seasonal events, new product launches, and promotions.
  • Align on-site merchandising with paid media, email marketing, and lifecycle campaigns through marketing collaboration.
  • Create performance reports with BI teams to monitor and optimize key metrics like conversion rate, AOV, revenue per visitor, and category performance.
  • Leverage data analysis, A/B testing, personalization, and behavioral insights to improve site effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to design dashboards and reporting tools for merchandising performance tracking.
