Responsibilities
- Define and execute the platform vision and roadmap for risk systems, prioritizing decisioning, model integration, rules management, and real-time controls amid competing business demands.
- Partner with Data Science to operationalize AI and ML models by shaping thresholds, feature specifications, monitoring protocols, and feedback mechanisms that link predictions to real-world outcomes.
- Gain in-depth understanding of system architecture, data pipelines, and technical tools to identify system gaps, support engineering teams, and write precise, actionable requirements.
- Optimize financial outcomes by analyzing approval rates and loss exposure across customer segments, making data-driven decisions to adjust or differentiate risk controls.
- Bridge Risk, Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Legal, and Sales teams by translating technical risk capabilities into actionable insights tailored to each group’s needs.
- Manage the product backlog, collaborate with engineering on sprint planning, and ensure high standards for user story definition and acceptance criteria.
