Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for thermal-mechanical solvers beyond 3D-ICs, including thermal management in data centers, electric drivetrains, and satellite systems
- Own the product lifecycle from inception to launch
- Define features, UI/UX requirements, and API capabilities that enable engineers to use the world’s fastest solver seamlessly
- Define how Physics AI Foundation Models translate into tangible value for end-users
- Determine how engineers interact with a 'neural' simulation
- Collaborate with industry leaders to pilot new technologies
- Ensure the product solves real-world pain points such as package warpage, thermal-mechanical fatigue, and high-flux cooling
- Position Flexcompute against legacy incumbents by highlighting advantages in speed, accuracy, scale, and the ability to scale first-principles physics into AI
Requirements
- Deep understanding of thermal and structural simulation (FEA/CFD)
- Knowledge of the limitations of current simulation tools and frustration with their slowness
- 5-10 years of experience in Product Management, ideally in CAE, EDA, or high-performance computing (HPC)
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
- Comfort discussing GPU architectures, solver convergence, and neural network latencies with PhD-level researchers
Nice to Have
- Experience in AI-accelerated engineering platforms
- Background in working with startups or emerging industries
- Prior work with simulation tools in applications such as 3D-ICs, data centers, electric drivetrains, or satellite systems
