Responsibilities
- Guide and grow a team of individual contributor data scientists by setting strategic direction, removing blockers, conducting regular one-on-ones, and expanding each member's responsibilities and influence
- Manage end-to-end delivery of proof-of-concept and proof-of-value projects, collaborating directly with enterprise clients to validate fraud loss reduction and return on investment from initial data extraction to final stakeholder presentation
- Remain actively involved in technical tasks, including developing or evaluating machine learning models, performing deep-dive fraud investigations, and deploying production-ready systems alongside the team
- Establish and monitor performance indicators by designing dashboards and reporting structures to assess risk strategy effectiveness across client accounts
- Convert client-specific challenges into data-driven solutions by serving as a senior advisor on fraud issues and translating analytical insights into actionable, clear recommendations
- Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Go-to-Market teams to define project scope, shape product priorities, and ensure proper integration and scaling of fraud detection models
- Lead controlled experimentation efforts, including A/B testing, to evaluate new strategies safely before broad implementation
- Elevate technical standards by mentoring data scientists in model rigor, effective data storytelling, and client-facing communication
