Akvelon is hiring a Lead or Middle or Senior DevOps Engineer (MSR)

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve an on-demand GPU workstation platform with lightweight containerization or virtualization
  • Implement scheduling, reservation, registration, image management, storage mounting, SSH with SSO, and developer-friendly access flows
  • Automate cluster namespace configuration across CPU, GPU, memory, and storage allocations
  • Support hierarchical capacity allocation models with RBAC-based administration
  • Automate storage import, export, and archival workflows as allocations change
  • Build monitoring, alerts, and automated incident ticket creation for large-scale cluster environments
  • Improve integrations between source control, CI/CD, package distribution, and GPU-connected development workflows
  • Contribute automation, scripts, and agentic tooling that improve infrastructure and day-to-day research workflows

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and platform orchestration
  • Solid understanding of scheduling, reservation, or namespace-based resource management systems
  • Experience with GPU infrastructure, virtualization, slicing, or containerized workstation environments
  • Strong scripting and automation skills
  • Practical Azure experience and familiarity with secure infrastructure operations

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, incident automation, or on-call paging workflows
  • Experience with developer platforms, devcontainers, or remote development tooling such as VS Code integrations
  • Exposure to AI-assisted monitoring, trend analysis, or agentic infrastructure tooling

We are seeking an Senior Android Engineer to support global growth initiatives through mobile features focused on translations and guest experiences. The role involves contributing across the full development cycle: technical design, implementation, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
You will be responsible for managing your own task pipeline, maintaining strong communication on progress, and collaborating with the team to deliver and support high-quality Android features.

Tasks

  • Develop, maintain, and support Android features within the platform;
  • Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback;
  • Collaborate with the team on upcoming features and design considerations;
  • Maintain clear communication on progress, risks, and questions;
  • Manage assigned tasks via Jira and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily in developing user-facing Android applications at scale using Kotlin or Java;
  • Experience with modern Android frameworks such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin coroutines;
  • Working knowledge of GraphQL;
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, for collaboration with distributed teams.

Nice to have:

  • Backend experience (service development, databases, Kubernetes) and ability to design maintainable APIs;
  • Experience with customer-facing public applications;
  • Ability to design and implement complex distributed systems operating under high load.
