About the Role
This role leads the creation and execution of motion design across digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engaging storytelling through animation and visual effects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of motion graphics for digital campaigns and interactive experiences
- Collaborate with creative directors and designers to align motion content with brand vision
- Manage timelines and deliverables for animation projects from concept to completion
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on creative work
- Develop storyboards, animatics, and prototypes for client presentations
- Ensure all motion content meets technical specifications across platforms
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging animation technologies
- Work closely with video editors and sound designers for integrated media
- Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging animated sequences
- Maintain and evolve design systems for motion elements
- Present creative concepts and revisions to internal and client teams
- Optimize file sizes and formats for web, mobile, and social platforms
- Troubleshoot technical issues in animation production workflows
- Coordinate with developers to implement motion assets in digital products
- Support pitch and proposal efforts with sample animations and concepts
- Ensure accessibility standards are met in animated content
- Balance creative innovation with project scope and deadlines
- Use After Effects, Premiere, and related tools for production
- Integrate user feedback into motion design iterations
- Promote a culture of creative excellence and experimentation
Nice to Have
- Experience with 3D animation software such as Cinema 4D or Blender
- Knowledge of design systems and component-based workflows
- Experience mentoring designers in a creative team
- Familiarity with agile or sprint-based project delivery
- Background in advertising or digital marketing
- Understanding of performance metrics for digital content
- Experience with virtual or augmented reality projects
- Exposure to AI-driven animation tools
- Portfolio including work for global brands
- Client-facing presentation experience
